Research, tooling, extrusion and quality, all in-house in our 46,500 square foot facility in Peterborough, New Hampshire.
Concept to commercial run
Our customers need some of the smallest and most complex tubing in the medical device industry, with some of the tightest tolerances. Every extrusion technician at Microspec works to a level of precision measured in thousandths of an inch, because someone’s life may depend on the device you have developed.
Research, process development, tooling and extrusion all stay in-house at our 46,500 square foot medical extrusion facility in Peterborough, New Hampshire. That makes us more agile when a specification changes and gives us tighter control over the finished part.

Our facility
Our building has grown from 1,200 square feet in 1990 to 46,500 square feet today. The 2025 addition brought a two-floor warehouse, more office space and separate shipping and receiving docks.

Continuous improvement
We improve our operations through team problem solving, Lean manufacturing and Good Manufacturing Practices. In 2008 a New Hampshire Job Training Fund grant trained our people in Lean manufacturing and we set up our first Lean cell. Today we focus on automation, data-driven process optimization and better use of production and post-production feedback.
Our quality systems ensure that everyone at Microspec works with the same concern for quality, so only high quality tubing goes out the door.
