About Microspec

Microspec is a medical extrusion company in Peterborough, New Hampshire. With proprietary processes and tools, we have earned a global reputation for extruding some of the smallest, most complex and tightly toleranced medical parts in the industry. We extrude in any quantity, from experimental to commercial runs and from small development lots to millions of parts per year.
Founded in 1989 by Tim Steele, we have grown from one extruder in a 1,200 square foot building to 22 extruders, about 120 people and a 46,500 square foot facility in Peterborough, New Hampshire. In 2025 we received an Outstanding Supplier Award, and in 2024 we celebrated our 35th anniversary.

From your first call
Our customer service team guides you through every step of a request for quote. We discuss your objectives and specifications, including OD and ID tolerances, wall thickness, number of lumens and their dimensions, cut length, material and durometer, and the schedule and quantities for prototype, validation and commercial runs.
